I have found that there is a large online presence of communities predominantly on Instagram and Facebook, where people are more than happy to connect and interact with one another on topics that relate to their businesses, hobbies, inudstry of work and even have weekly online social sharings of each others posts and pages to create a sense of welcoming for everyone.
What People Do Not Tell You
Upon reading many topics, articles and posts online about people should start their own business online nowadays, it’s cheap, it’s affordable, anyone can do it. Yes, these are all true statements, everyone should but the question is, can they really do it and is it really affordable for you everyday person.
No matter what industry you wish to break into and start up as a small business, I am all for it, I will willingly help that person to start on their feet and provide some guidance in how to do certain tasks, but beforehand, I will tell them the reality of how much it costs, what it really takes to do it and take it forth because you have to remember, you might be ambitious to make money, but there is always someone else which as ambitious if not more and they will work much harder than you to get to their end goal.
The e-commerce business is a large, complicated online battle to see how high people can rank in search engines against competitors. You want to be found when people search particular words in a search engine for your website be displayed at the top of a search engine or even for your products to be displayed in as an enhanced shopping listing on the likes of Google.
In order to get there, it takes time, money and a lot of effort to rank against some of the biggest companies which have budgets far higher than your average small business owner.
This is where you have to look at other aspects of how can one get recognition elsewhere and including search engines, social media.
Social media posts consists of daily posts both on feeds and stories, pins and videos depending on which platforms you use, obviously the more the merrier, which means, more work.
