Stonehaven is a pretty harbour town south of Aberdeen which has a sheltered working harbour busy with sailing yachts. The house is in a central location close to local shops and places to eat and drink.

What security is there for residents?

The house has access to a community alarm service, so you can always contact someone for help, even when our staff are away from the site.

Are meals provided?

Two nutritious home-cooked meals are provided every day by our house manager, using fresh locally sourced produce where possible, and residents have facilities in their own rooms for making breakfast and refreshments.

What will my room look like?

Abbeyfield House - Stonehaven was built in 1974 and has seven rooms all of a high standard. Most are either ensuite or have a bathroom or shower close by for your personal use. Rooms are unfurnished so that you can provide your own furniture and private possessions.

What age do I need to be to live in an Abbeyfield retirement home?

We welcome any person aged 55 years and over to live at Abbeyfield - whether you want to downsize, simply want to live in companionship with others, or no longer feel able to continue living in your own home.
