For those who wish to venture further afield, our home is situated between Hemel Hempstead and Berkhamsted, and is close to local bus routes which can take you to either. We are located opposite the village hall where there are a number of activities that are held and our residents are welcome to join in. We’re also close to the local church and duck pond in the village green as well as a couple of pubs in the local area.
Our rooms come unfurnished so you can personalise it and make it feel home. Each room has an en-suite walk-in shower and a kitchenette, allowing you to have a gentle start to the day and make breakfast at your own pace. As all of our suites on the ground floor, have access to our beautiful and attractive garden, which is the perfect place to catch up with family and friends or sit and enjoy the sunshine in the summer. Our first floor flat has internal stairs with a stairlift if needed, and has private access to the garden via a wooden staircase.
Annett House comprises of ten two room suites and spacious two bedroom flat on the first floor, all of which would suitable for couples.
We welcome any person aged 55 years and over to live at Abbeyfield - whether you want to downsize, simply want to live in companionship with others, or no longer feel able to continue living in your own home.
