What will my room look like?
The house has 11 en-suite rooms which are fitted with carpets, curtains and modern fitted storage units which combine wardrobe and kitchen space with a small fridge and sink. The rooms are otherwise unfurnished so that you can have your own furniture and possessions around you.
What's in the local area?
Lytham St Annes is in fact two towns set in the picturesque Fylde coastline just six miles from Blackpool. Both towns are full of character and atmosphere. Victorian St Annes has an expansive sandy beach and pier whilst ‘leafy’ Lytham has a historic windmill and Georgian hall. Both towns have pretty parks and boating lakes as well as stylish independent shops. The house is within walking distance of the sea front and near to Lytham town centre. There are also nearby bus stops with services to St Annes, Preston and Blackpool.
What age do I need to be to live in an Abbeyfield retirement home?
We welcome any person aged 55 years and over to live at Abbeyfield - whether you want to downsize, simply want to live in companionship with others, or no longer feel able to continue living in your own home.
