You’ll find lots of things to do in the area; our house is within walking distance to the Beacon shopping centre, library and train station and is close to a bus stop with regular buses into the town. As a seaside town, we’re not far from Eastbourne seafront where you’ll find an array of Victorian hotels, its pier and bandstand, and stretches of beach from Sovereign Harbour to the east and Beachy Head to the west. If you fancy doing something different, you’ll find Towner Art Gallery, which houses one of the most important collections of public art in the south of England, as well as a number of theatres including Devonshire Park Theatre, a Victorian theatre with ornate interior decorations, and The Royal Hippodrome, which runs the longest summer show in Britain, so you’ll find something to suit every interest.
