Cold Canapés Reception with Drinks and Staff

Cold canapés are ideal for evening receptions, party events, exhibition openings, and annual celebrations like Christmas, pairing excellently with cocktails and champagne. From cucumber cups and mozzarella skewers to aged Scottish beef in mini Yorkshire puddings, our cold canapé menu appeals to a range of tastes. For events with 20 guests or more, we provide your choice of canapés and drinks, along with optional waiting staff and all the necessary dishes, tableware and equipment.

Bowl Canapés with Drinks and Staff

Bowl canapés, also known as bowl food, are main course dishes served in tiny bowls and ramekins. Available for a minimum of 30 guests with three bowls each, our bowl food service includes waiting staff to circulate with platters of food and forks, as well as a chef, who will be on hand to freshly prepare and present each miniature main. This unique serving style adds a touch of extra finesse to evening receptions and wine tastings.

Hot and Cold Canapés Reception with Drinks and Staff

Mixing up hot, cold, and bowl food canapés is a great way to forefront food and showcase a range of our exciting contract catering menus. Freshly presented by a chef at your venue and served by our professional waiting staff, a mixed canapés menu might include mini bean salad bowls, marinated monkfish, seared tuna salad, and crispy bantam chicken. A choice of dessert canapés, including mini fruit pavlova or strawberry shortcake, could complete your selection.

Bespoke Canapés Reception

Our canapé menus are varied enough to suit virtually any event catering theme. Whatever you're planning, Michael Glennon or another member of our team will have you buzzing with fresh ideas. Celebrating the Chinese New Year? Go for crispy duck pancakes and chicken dim sum! An Italian garden party? Maybe combine our truffle risotto bowls and mozarella-tomato-basil skewers with some chocolate cups with fruit and mascarpone. A bespoke canapés reception lets you choose from any of our menus and arrange a completely custom service style.

Finger Buffets

Suitable for all-day office catering, conferences and meetings, finger buffets can be sent to your venue ready for serving or brought by our professional waiting staff, along with tea and coffee equipment and other beverages. We offer a varied selection of creative finger buffet food – from micro dogs to halloumi skewers – alongside a more classic choice of sandwiches and wraps.

Hot and Cold Fork Buffets

Representing a more substantial choice suitable for staff lunches and seasonal or special events, our hot and cold fork buffet menus include pies, salads, curries and desserts, along with a range of unique, restaurant-style dishes. Kitchen facilities are not always essential, particularly when it comes to cold menus, but staff and a chef are provided as part of the service.
