I'm fat, fifty plus and very forgetful. I have attended the club for approximately 12 months. I love training sessions where the instructors and students are exceptionally friendly and helpful. There are no ego's at the club; just a collection of like minded people who enjoy sharing their knowledge. Recommend it to anyone who has an inkling of interest in Martial Arts. Wish I took it up earlier!

My 11 son is recovering from a brain tumour and goes here. He loves it. It’s great for his physio but more importantly he enjoys going as he is treated so lovely by everyone there and they look after him well.

I have trained with Bill and Ed at Somerset Wing Chun for a while. I came to Wing Chun having studies a couple of other more "energetic/athletic" styles for a while. I needed a class that catered for my collection of injuries, surgeries and health problems. Bills class is simple, effective straight to the point street defense class. There are no egos and the teaching is aimed at all ages and abilities. Bill and Ed have helped me adapt my kung fu to suit my body and health to great effect. Alongside this, my daughter began training when she was younger, she was very timid and lacked confidence. She trained with me in other styles but didn't feel comfortable. Bill spent a lot of time working with her. She now has a small group of her own in Brighton where she attends university. if you're looking for a friendly class that will teach you and effective martial art based around Bills years of experience then give it a go. What do you have to loose?

I've been with the club for 3 years now. I've found the Instruction to be first class. There are no egos and all students are more than happy to help without frustration. Truly relaxed and friendly atmosphere. With regular seminars and workshops, there's always something new to learn and new people to meet.
