Salisbury String Quartet

I am delighted that you are considering having The Salisbury String Quartet at your wedding.

We are a Hertfordshire based group of musicians, with experience playing at all the major venues in this county (Fanhams Hall, Tewinbury Farm, Hanbury Manor, St. Michaels Manor, Hatfield House, The Henry Moore Foundation, Hitchin Priory, Offley Place, Sopwell House etc....) as well as smaller venues, churches and private addresses.

We have an enormous range of suitable repertoire from which we select appropriate sets of music to play at your function. This ranges from classical favourites to the modern day, although we are not able to do bookings of solely contemporary music.. Do see our repertoire list.

Ceremony Music

Clients are welcomed to choose their own ceremony music (one 'in piece', two or three for signing of the registers, and one 'exit' piece) from our repertoire lists. Please note that choices for civil ceremonies may be 'classical' but not religious. Do look at our youtube clips for ideas.

Gazebo

Should your function be outside, such as drinks receptions, we provide our own attractive gazebo to perform under. Free of charge.

Amplification

We now have a slimline, attractive amplifier which can be used at functions where the roof is low (such as marquees) and number of guests are high. Small extra charge of £20. Please ask for more information.

Public Liability Insurance

Our policy is for 5million. If your venue requires more than this then this must be declared at the point of booking and may attract an extra charge.

Booking

If you would like to go ahead, then please let me know and I shall forward you a booking form. Payment of £100 and safe return of your completed forms secures the date in our diary.

Fee Our wedding ceremony fee which includes 15mins prior to the ceremony, entrance music, exit music, any hymns as required and music for the signing of the registers. Otherwise our charges are by the hour: As you will see once we are there, it doesn't cost much more to have additional time! Our charges are for time in attendance from first note and not the sum of sets. We will take short breaks sensitively approx every hour.
