Our Durham branch can be located on Belmont Industrial Estate, just off the A690. Come off the A690 towards the Belmont Industrial Estate, passing the Mini Cooper dealership on the left. Turn left at the traffic lights after the Premier Inn and Broomside Park Pub & Restaurant. Follow the road down to a sharp right turn then turn left at The Wheel Specialist. Take your first left again and we're around 50 yards ahead in Unit 7 of Evans Easy Space, just park up outside and come in to see us! Should you leave your car with us on the day, there are public transport links that are easy to reach nearby. Local buses operate along Belmont Industrial Estate and stop just a minutes walk from our office. Can I sell a car on behalf of a family or friend?

Yes you can and the following documentation will be required to complete the sale; Original Photo ID for the registered keeper (Passport/Driving License), proof of address for the registered keeper dated within the last nine months (this must match the address on the V5 - utility bill/bank statement), a letter/email of authority from the registered keeper stating that they wish to sell the vehicle and naming the person bringing the car for sale as being authorised to conclude the sale. Alternatively, a copy of the Power of Attorney document naming the person bringing the car for sale as Power of Attorney, the payment must be to the registered keepers UK bank account, so proof of the account details should be provided (bank statement/paying in book and photo ID for the person bringing the car.

I have outstanding finance against my car. Can I sell it to webuyanycar?

We can arrange settlement of any outstanding finance on your car. For us to do this we will need you to provide an in date letter from your finance company, detailing the current settlement figure and your agreement reference number. The settlement amount will be deducted from the amount paid to you for your car. We will pay your finance company within 4 working days after the day of sale If you owe more on your finance than the value of the car, we will still be happy to buy the car, but you will need to pay us the shortfall by debit/credit card when we purchase your car.

How and when will I receive payment for my car?

Payment will be made directly to your bank account within 4 working days after the day of sale, using our standard electronic bank transfer service. There is no charge for this service. We also offer a next working day payment service at an additional fee of £24.75 and the same day Premier Payment option to selected customers for an additional fee of £29.75. Can I visit my local branch without an appointment?

Appointments are not always necessary, so if you haven't made an appointment online, you can just call into your local branch. Booking an appointment ensures we'll be ready for your arrival and will have the time to inspect your car at the branch. But if you are just passing a branch then you can pop in and speak to us whenever you like. We do however advise that you check the branch opening times before you travel. How do I reschedule my appointment?

You can reschedule an appointment by using the link in your appointment confirmation email, or by visiting the Manage My Appointment page on our website. From here you can choose a new time, day or branch to suit you. If you need to cancel your appointment you will also be able to do so.

How do I make an appointment to sell my car?

Once you have your online valuation, you can then choose a branch, day and time for your appointment through our website and we'll confirm your appointment by email. If you don’t book your appointment straight away, the quickest way for you to do this at a later stage would be to simply click on the link in your initial valuation email, select which branch you would like to visit and on what date and time.
