Le Chardon d’Or offers the ultimate fine dining experience and bespoke private dining with award winning dishes crafted by Brian Maule. Brian designs his Menus using fresh and locally sourced ingredients in dishes that reflect his classic French training from Albert and Michel Roux Jnr in his 11 years as head chef at Le Gavroche in London.
In addition to our elegant restaurant we also have a first class Private Dining facility that is flexible enough to accommodate an array of special events. Our team are avid supporters of the food and drinks industry and we love to offer our customers the opportunity to try the latest premium & craft brands.
We offer Speciality Events like our popular Gin Experience & Cocktail Lunches. Further to this, we host exclusive wine dinners with world-renowned winemakers showcasing their wines matched to Brian’s award-winning menus. Brian keeps menus current and makes changes that reflect the season and best quality produce available. Seasonal and celebration menus are available and also the standard but frequently updated Lunch & pre-theatre menus along with our a la carte offering, all crafted by Brian. With a full vegetarian menu available, there will always be a selection of dishes on offer to suit all palates.

Paying homage to the bounty of the Scottish larder, Brian and his team experiment with flavors and imaginative combinations to create exquisite recipes which change with the season.
