There are regular coffee mornings, bingo evenings and our Knit and Natter group, we organise outings in the local area to garden centres and other local attractions, and hold a garden party ever summer. Residents are always invited to Abbeyfield’s annual Christmas Carol Service which is held at Liverpool Cathedral and is a truly wonderful event.
What's in the local area?
The centre of Formby village is within walking distance from the home, with plenty of pubs, cafes and restaurants for you to try. For those who enjoy nature, we are close by to the Formby National Trust site where you can visit beautiful costal areas, take stunning walks and even see some rare wildlife such as the wild red squirrel. We are close by to two train stations and we have a bus stop conveniently located just outside the front of the property.
