I've learnt more about the basics in one lesson with someone else than i did in 8 hours with Nimbo Singh. In any of my lessons he never told about the left blind spot, didn't show me the different ways to check all doors are closed and left the keys in with the engine running while we swapped seats so I never got to start a car, one lesson I checked there was no other traffic, pulled out to turn right he shouted that's us killed then and didn't give an explanation of what I'd done wrong, knocked my confidence totally.
It's a few months since I had my last lesson with him, so I went back to basics with my new instructor at Amber school of motoring and got to fourth gear, done uphill starts in my 4th lesson compared to Nimbo I was still in 2nd gear going around the same roads on the flat in my 8th lesson
