Our bodies are truly amazing but sometimes things can get a little out of balance, causing many issues and negatively impacting our daily lives. Acupuncture is a part of Chinese medicine, an ancient practice that believes the body works as a whole. As an acupuncturist, I use ultra fine, sterile needles placed in specific points along meridians, with an aim to bring back the balance and harmony that is needed to gain the full potential of your body again.
Evidence based research is now available suggesting the possible mechanisms of acupuncture and supporting the positive effects it produces. It is recommended by NICE for the treatment of tension type headaches, migraines and chronic pain. We also treat many other conditions and ailments in clinic including mental health (stress, anxiety, depression), digestive issues, acid reflux, gynaecological issues, fertility, menopausal symptoms, chronic fatigue and musculoskeletal problems.
