We recommend the treatment every 6 months. Of course, our personal habits can effect how long the results last. We have clients that come in every 3 months and others once a year.

Most of our clients do not experience sensitivity after treatment. If there is sensitivity, it is typically mild and over the counter pain medicine is all that is needed one time after treatment. The active ingredient percentage in our whitening gel is lower than what is used at the dental office. What that means, is you will get whitening results without the pain and sensitivity that can occur when the higher percentage is used.

What is involved with teeth whitening? Do I need more than one treatment? Are there different options for a in-office treatment?

There are a lot of options on the market. The Brite Smiles system is very similar to a in-office treatment provided at a dental office. The treatment consists of three 15-minute sessions. That means to achieve real results, your teeth need to be exposed to the gel and activated by the light for 45 minutes. There are other whitening systems that take less time but do not offer the same results.
