Once you have your online valuation, you can then choose a branch, day and time for your appointment through our website and we'll confirm your appointment by email. All of our appointments are free, with no obligation to sell
How do I reschedule my appointment?
You can reschedule an appointment by using the link in your appointment confirmation email, or by visiting the Manage My Appointment page on our website. From here you can choose a new time, day or branch to suit you. If you need to cancel your appointment you will also be able to do so.
Can I visit my local branch without an appointment?
Appointments are not always necessary, so if you haven't made an appointment online, you can just call into your local branch. Booking an appointment ensures we'll be ready for your arrival and will have the time to inspect your car at the branch. But if you are just passing a branch then you can pop in and speak to us whenever you like. We do however advise that you check the branch opening times before you travel. You can find your local branch opening times and contact details by using our branch locator.
How and when will I receive payment for my car?
Payment will be made directly to your bank account within 4 working days after the day of sale, using our standard electronic bank transfer service. There is no charge for this service. We also offer a next working day payment service at an additional fee of £24.75 and the same day Premier Payment option to selected customers for an additional fee of £29.75. I have outstanding finance against my car. Can I sell it to webuyanycar?
We can arrange settlement of any outstanding finance on your car. For us to do this we will need you to provide an in date letter from your finance company, detailing the current settlement figure and your agreement reference number. The settlement amount will be deducted from the amount paid to you for your car. We will pay your finance company within 4 working days after the day of sale If you owe more on your finance than the value of the car, we will still be happy to buy the car, but you will need to pay us the shortfall by debit/credit card when we purchase your car.
Can I sell a car on behalf of a family or friend?
Yes you can and the following documentation will be required to complete the sale; Original Photo ID for the registered keeper (Passport/Driving License), proof of address for the registered keeper dated within the last nine months (this must match the address on the V5 - utility bill/bank statement), a letter/email of authority from the registered keeper stating that they wish to sell the vehicle and naming the person bringing the car for sale as being authorised to conclude the sale. Alternatively, a copy of the Power of Attorney document naming the person bringing the car for sale as Power of Attorney, the payment must be to the registered keepers UK bank account, so proof of the account details should be provided (bank statement/paying in book and photo ID for the person bringing the car.
