We hold coffee mornings every day which are very much enjoyed by our residents and organise trips throughout the year. We have garden parties in the summer for the local community to attend and plenty of events, themed activities and wonderful food at Christmas time.

Set in Bolton Le Sands on Morcambe Bay, we have two beautiful buildings; Bolton Lodge which is a grade two listed building built in 1980 with nine rooms, and Procter House which is a converted barn consisting of five flats.
What's in the local area?
Morecambe Bay is a beautiful place, known for its stunning sunsets and natural landscapes. The Lancaster Canal runs through the town just 200 yards from the house. There are good transport links to nearby Lancaster, Morecambe and Carnforth. The local library is across the road from the house and churches are within walking distance. We have a local butcher, greengrocer and many convenience stores nearby and we are very fortunate to be close to an award winning fish and chip shop.
What age do I need to be to live in an Abbeyfield retirement home?
We welcome any person aged 55 years and over to live at Abbeyfield - whether you want to downsize, simply want to live in companionship with others, or no longer feel able to continue living in your own home.
