In the summer, residents enjoy the attractive, well-maintained garden and summerhouse. Abbeyfield House offers a wonderful sheltered housing service and is run by experienced, friendly team members . Residents get to know our fantastic chefs, and helpful handyman. And of course, the house manager is always around should you need extra help, or fancy a chat over a cup of tea.

There is a beautiful garden room which is the hub of the house, sunshine streams through the windows and you get a real feeling of warmth, there are always activities on offer and you will generally find someone in the garden room to share a game of Scrabble with or enjoy a cuppa and a chat. In the summer, the doors are often open on to the patio where you can stroll out to enjoy your morning coffee whilst admiring the beautiful flowers in the 4 inter-connected landscaped gardens. Modern laundry room and service washes. Weekly visit from hairdresser. Tea and coffee is always available in the day room. A team member is available 24/7 to help with anything, and our handyman is on hand to help you with little jobs in your flat.
Delicious home-cooked meals are provided every day, and there are facilities for making breakfast in your own room should you wish.
Each flat has gas central heating, en-suite facilities, and some have a kitchenette. Residents can furnish their own flats.
