“It hardly seems possible that we’re just about to celebrate our second birthday here in Harrogate. Although I took over the lease in May 2016 we did pretty extensive works to the premises so actually opened in late September that year. And on Sunday 23 September we’re two years old!

During the two years we’ve been on Cold Bath Road we’ve built a very loyal and delightful customer base. And our collection is for ever adjusting to appeal to the needs of the people who come through our door. So we’ve been delighted to add Numph, And Less and more recently YaYa to the beautiful collection of womenswear we have and Hymn and Anerkjendt on the Menswear side. AND, of course this Autumn we’ve launched with a much bigger and better homewares collection that is different from the offer Harrogate already has. Clean, cool and delightfully Scandi it should grace the tables, kitchens and bathrooms of many Harrogate Homes.

We’re also very pleased to be in the first vanguard of the Harrogate Independent Strategy which hopes to give a boost to the many and varied independent stores and traders here in town. With a dwindling town centre, there is a massive amount of work to do to make sure visitors and local people continue to support their local independent shops and Bias is really happy to be a vital part of this movement.

So, as we look forward to our birthday celebrations, we hope that both women and men will continue to give us the wonderful support that we’ve experienced during our first two years and that we have many more birthdays to come in this wonderful town.”
