Good point Ricky accepted the job and would work a weekend to do it. Problem is he hasn’t a clue what he is doing. He couldn’t fit the laminate together and tried to do it with a Stanley knife. He installed floor with chips on it (not sure how he missed it). After installing half, I noticed it made a clicking noise. At first he blamed the glue and said it would settle, then he blamed the laminate that he had laid without raising any problems with the installation. Laminate manufacturer ruled product was fine and it was fitted incorrectly. End result £1200 of Flooring had to scrapped and Ricky was no where to be seen blaming the product. Not only was my floor ruined but so was my skirting boards as he doesn’t use a tape measure (scratching them in position). Nice chap but avoid like the plague, hasn’t a clue how to fit flooring despite the advertising!
