Sarah Swirled is a small local business which specializes in Egyptian belly dance. Established in 2009 where it was based in a small village called Hesketh Bank where business owner Sarah lives, it later moved to Penwortham, a sub district of Preston and here it has stayed. Over the years Sarah Swirled has developed services already established, as well as creating and developing new ones. These include weekly classes for Improvers, Crash Courses for Beginners, Educational Talks which are very popular with the Women's Institute and the Trefoil Guild, but which are suitable for any group; Workshops, performances, Arabian Nights Parties, and more.
Starter Courses for Beginners - A 6-week course which allows students to learn some of the basic moves used within Egyptian belly dance.
Weekly classes for Improvers - These lessons are designed for dancers who have at least one years experience (although classes can be tailored depending on the attendees), but they allows students to further develop their skills.
Educational Talks - a very entertaining look at some of the different dance styles within belly dance, including the costumes and props (if appropriate). A very visual talk!
Workshops - Designed as a good excuse to get a group together to have fun and try something new. Try your hand at basic belly dance, or for some extra fun and games add a prop.
Performances - Tailor made to your requirements, each performance is different. Varying in length and content, you can be sure you get the right mood for your event.
Arabian Nights Hen Parties - Dress up, enjoy a photo shoot and learn a simple choreography. And there's a surprise or two in the mix. The makings of a wonderful hen party.

COVID UPDATE: Following government guidelines which state that face-to-face dance classes can resume from 17th May, I am currently offering a new Starter Course, starting on Wednesday 30th June - Wednesday 4th August, 7pm - 8pm.
