Communal bathrooms on two floors include baths with assisted shower seats. A number of flats have balconies and views, some of the sea, some overlooking the local croquet lawns and cricket pitch.

Abbeyfield Court, is a retirement home offering sheltered housing which has accommodation for 28 residents. Ideally located, it is close to Sidmouth seafront and within easy reach of the Fore street shopping area. The parish church and market place are just a flat easy walk away and bus stops for trips beyond the town are just across the road.
