Platform One

Platform One is a small Creative Design agency, established in 1969 and based in Monmouth, South Wales.

We love design: for us, it's more than a job, it's who we are. Away from the studio we absorb ourselves in theatre, exhibitions, literature, music and our national heritage. We believe that the benefits gained are reflected in everything we do in our work.

Our portfolio covers magazines and newsletters, visual identities, packaging, exhibitions and display, and heritage interpretation. From time to time we also undertake more unusual projects such as cake making, silk tie painting and model making.

We are a small team who thrive on the different challenges thrown our way. We've built carnival floats, made commemorative cakes, painted cushions, designed a shipping case for an elephant and transported a coffin in the back of a Cortina through a busy city to a photographer's studio!

We have long-standing clients who keep coming back to us with new projects, as well as one-off commissions. They benefit from a traditional, friendly, courteous and creative approach. We give a commitment that goes way beyond the call of duty: we employ a policy of honouring budgets and meeting deadlines.
