We offer a selection of Freesat channels, although the exact channels available depends on location of the holiday home.
The parks are opened 12 months a year, however there may be a rare occasion when we will close for essential maintenance during winter. We will always ensure that this is done in the quietest periods, to minimise impact on our guests enjoyment and holiday experience.
We have ample parking outside the main complex and reception area. If you are staying in our self catering accommodation, we would recommend that you park your vehicle at the main complex while you check-in (don't worry, there's no need to unpack till you reach your individual unit). There are additional spaces for disabled badge holders.

Of course! Although inconvenient, you can still get to Drimsynie if the road is shut. There are three alternative routes that we suggest: Ferry - There is an increased service on the Western Ferries Gourock-Hunters Quay crossing during road closures. On exiting the ferry terminal at Hunters Quay, turn right onto the A815 through Strachur & St Catherines before taking a right on to Hells Glen (B839).
We sell ferry tickets at £17 (single) or £34 (return) – which covers one car plus five people. Contact our reservations team to purchase your tickets, but please give us 14 days' notice to ensure we can get them to you in time. Collection is free from Hunters Quay Holiday Village, or you can purchase home delivery for £3. You can also purchase reduced-price tickets at “Paul’s Food & Wine” in Gourock.
Packing for a holiday is always difficult, but even more so when you’ve got a wee one on board. Cots and highchairs are available for hire at a £10 charge per item per stay.
Cycling is one of the best ways to explore the local area, whether you’re looking for an epic road route, or something a little more family friendly in and around the villages. You can find more info about local bike hire here.
While our caravans are premier, you’d struggle to fit a cot into the bedrooms. If you are bringing a cot, we’d recommend keeping it in the living area – however there are other options for more sizable accommodation at most of our parks – feel free to ask our reservations team at time of booking.
If you have your heart set on a specific holiday home, speak to our reservations team to see what they can do for you – subject to availability. There is a £35 fee to ensure a “no move” guarantee.
Absolutely, dogs deserve a pawliday too! However, we do ask that your four-legged friend follows our petiquette guidelines: Dogs must always be kept on a leash, Please use our doggie waste bins around the sites, Keep your paws off the furniture!

Our standard deposit is 30%, with the final balance due 56 days before arrival.
We have a dynamic pricing structure that means that our prices change in response to seasons, availability and demand from customers. In this case we will not refund the difference.
At Drimsynie Estate and Hunters Quay, we offer complimentary Wi-Fi in public areas within the main complex. On all our parks, each accommodation has its own Wi-Fi, provided by a third-party. Instructions are available at reception on how to access and pay for this.

Loch Lomond Holiday Park is our only site with space for touring caravans.
Yes - you'll find them in all of our onsite restaurants & bars.
We provide towels for all our premier lodges, please check at time of booking if your lodge includes this. For all other holiday homes, you will be required to bring towels. Towel purchase is available at ÂŁ10.00 for a bath towel and ÂŁ5.00 for a hand towel (subject to availability).
No, bedding is provided in all of our properties, with beds made up on arrival.
Many of our onsite activities and entertainment are free of charge, however at Drimsynie Estate and Hunters Quay there may be some additional charges for our Go Active activities. At Hunters Quay and Stratheck parks, our guests are welcome to make use of the leisure facilities as part of their holiday package.
Although transmitters have been recently upgraded, our holiday parks are still in remote areas, so mobile phone signal varies. The Vodafone & EE networks tend to offer the best coverage.
We provide dedicated BBQ slabs for you to enjoy at Drimsynie Estate and Hunters Quay.
Absolutely. We always encourage visitors to take plenty of snaps whilst on their holiday. Be sure to tag us on social media too, @argyllholidays. Please bear in mind that we don’t allow guests to film or take photographs in our swimming pool areas. While you’re with us, you may spot a TV camera or professional photographer. We could be shooting photos, video or maybe even filming a TV show. We’ll try to make sure the filming doesn’t affect your holiday and that you always know what’s going on. With this agreement, you give us the rights to anything containing your image that’s shot while you’re with us. This doesn’t affect your own photos or videos of course! If you don’t want to be in the shot, please try to stay away from the filming area, and if you or someone in your family does stray into a photo or video without meaning to, we’ll do our best to remove the image from our library.
