What TV channels will I get?
We offer a selection of Freesat channels, although the exact channels available depends on location of the holiday home.
When are the holiday parks open?
The parks are opened 12 months a year, however there may be a rare occasion when we will close for essential maintenance during winter. We will always ensure that this is done in the quietest periods, to minimise impact on our guests enjoyment and holiday experience.
Where do I park my vehicle?
We have ample parking outside the main complex and reception area. If you are staying in our self catering accommodation, we would recommend that you park your vehicle at the main complex while you check-in (don't worry, there's no need to unpack till you reach your individual unit). There are additional spaces for disabled badge holders.

What time do I check-in/ check-out?
Check in for all our self-catering guests is from 4pm and check out is by 10am. Check in for our hotel guests is at 2pm and check out is at 11am.

Breakfast for 2 adults is included, additional guests ÂŁ25 per person (subject to availability).

Our onsite convenience stores are the ideal place to buy all the food & drink youâll need during your stay with us. They are well stocked with great variety of essentials. Hunters Quay - Low Season Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday: 9am-2pm Monday, Friday & Saturday: 9am-5pm Hunters Quay - High Season Monday-Sunday: 9am-7pm Drimsynie Estate Monday-Saturday: 8am-530pm Sunday: 9am-430pm Seasonal variations apply.

Cormonachan Woodlands (1 - 2.5km) - these lovely woodlands are home to plenty of red squirrels Balmaha Millennium Forest path (1 mile) - walk alongside Loch Lomond and explore Balmaha village Inchailloch walking paths (30-40 minutes) - there are three simple routes to explore this wildlife-haven island Cashel Forest Memorial Way (1km) - perfect for all abilities, in a beautiful conservation area Luss Lochside Path (20 minutes) - enjoy the pretty village of Luss and views of Loch Lomond Ardyne forest (1.5 miles) - a lovely forest stroll What are the best dog walks in Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park? Can I still get to Drimsynie if the A83 is closed?
Of course! Although inconvenient, you can still get to Drimsynie if the road is shut. There are three alternative routes that we suggest: Ferry - There is an increased service on the Western Ferries Gourock-Hunters Quay crossing during road closures. On exiting the ferry terminal at Hunters Quay, turn right onto the A815 through Strachur & St Catherines before taking a right on to Hells Glen (B839).
Can I purchase reduced price ferry tickets?
We sell ferry tickets at ÂŁ17 (single) or ÂŁ34 (return) â which covers one car plus five people. Contact our reservations team to purchase your tickets, but please give us 14 days' notice to ensure we can get them to you in time. Collection is free from Hunters Quay Holiday Village, or you can purchase home delivery for ÂŁ3. You can also purchase reduced-price tickets at âPaulâs Food & Wineâ in Gourock.
Can I hire cots/ highchairs?
Packing for a holiday is always difficult, but even more so when youâve got a wee one on board. Cots and highchairs are available for hire at a ÂŁ10 charge per item per stay.
Can I hire a bike?
Cycling is one of the best ways to explore the local area, whether youâre looking for an epic road route, or something a little more family friendly in and around the villages. You can find more info about local bike hire here.
Can I fit my cot into a standard caravan?
While our caravans are premier, youâd struggle to fit a cot into the bedrooms. If you are bringing a cot, weâd recommend keeping it in the living area â however there are other options for more sizable accommodation at most of our parks â feel free to ask our reservations team at time of booking.
Can I choose a specific caravan or lodge?
If you have your heart set on a specific holiday home, speak to our reservations team to see what they can do for you â subject to availability. There is a ÂŁ35 fee to ensure a âno moveâ guarantee.
Can I bring my dog?
Absolutely, dogs deserve a pawliday too! However, we do ask that your four-legged friend follows our petiquette guidelines: Dogs must always be kept on a leash, Please use our doggie waste bins around the sites, Keep your paws off the furniture!
Can I bring extra beds for additional guests?
No; we take a lot of care to advertise our accommodations for the perfect number of guests. To find out more about specific accommodation types you can speak to us by calling the number at the top of this page or click on the âLive Chatâ option on our website.
How much deposit is required?
Our standard deposit is 30%, with the final balance due 56 days before arrival.
The price has changed since I booked - Can I get a refund?
We have a dynamic pricing structure that means that our prices change in response to seasons, availability and demand from customers. In this case we will not refund the difference.
Is there Wi-Fi onsite?
At Drimsynie Estate and Hunters Quay, we offer complimentary Wi-Fi in public areas within the main complex. On all our parks, each accommodation has its own Wi-Fi, provided by a third-party. Instructions are available at reception on how to access and pay for this.
Is there a minimum length of stay?
We offer 1-night breaks in our hotel rooms and our minimum stay in self-catering holiday homes is 2 nights. For more information please call our reservations team on 0345 459 9772.
Do you take touring caravans?
Loch Lomond Holiday Park is our only site with space for touring caravans.
Do you have highchairs in your restaurants?
Yes - you'll find them in all of our onsite restaurants & bars.
Do I need to bring towels?
We provide towels for all our premier lodges, please check at time of booking if your lodge includes this. For all other holiday homes, you will be required to bring towels. Towel purchase is available at ÂŁ10.00 for a bath towel and ÂŁ5.00 for a hand towel (subject to availability).
Do I need to bring bedding?
No, bedding is provided in all of our properties, with beds made up on arrival.
Do I have to pay for activities or leisure facilities?
Many of our onsite activities and entertainment are free of charge, however at Drimsynie Estate and Hunters Quay there may be some additional charges for our Go Active activities. At Hunters Quay and Stratheck parks, our guests are welcome to make use of the leisure facilities as part of their holiday package.
Can I use my mobile phone?
Although transmitters have been recently upgraded, our holiday parks are still in remote areas, so mobile phone signal varies. The Vodafone & EE networks tend to offer the best coverage.
Can I use an outdoor barbecue?
We provide dedicated BBQ slabs for you to enjoy at Drimsynie Estate and Hunters Quay.
Can I take photos?
Absolutely. We always encourage visitors to take plenty of snaps whilst on their holiday. Be sure to tag us on social media too, @argyllholidays. Please bear in mind that we donât allow guests to film or take photographs in our swimming pool areas. While youâre with us, you may spot a TV camera or professional photographer. We could be shooting photos, video or maybe even filming a TV show. Weâll try to make sure the filming doesnât affect your holiday and that you always know whatâs going on. With this agreement, you give us the rights to anything containing your image thatâs shot while youâre with us. This doesnât affect your own photos or videos of course! If you donât want to be in the shot, please try to stay away from the filming area, and if you or someone in your family does stray into a photo or video without meaning to, weâll do our best to remove the image from our library.
