Barley View Care Home

We offer residential placement and welcome enquiries for respite care, subject to room availability.

Arranged over two levels, the 28-bedroom home is split into two 14-bed communities named Willow Lane and Forest Grove.

Services are tailored for every resident and their family. We’re committed to quality residential care, treating everyone as individuals with their own unique personal care plan.

We provide a unique environment which has been carefully created to meet both the needs of older people living with dementia, and those simply requiring residential care on a long or short term basis.

Atmosphere: We have created a community at Barley View that looks after each other and cares for all, and that’s why we offer many opportunities to feel like you are ‘at home’, not ‘in a home’. This is one of the things about Whitworth Care that motivates and guides our approach.

Amenities: 28 bedrooms, each with: - en-suite wetroom - wardrobe - bedside cabinet - chest of drawers - armchair - nurse call system. - light assisted guidance - Lockable medication cabinet - TV point Residents are welcome to bring their own furnishings subject to meeting our fire safety policy. N.B. Assisted bathrooms are available on each floor, complete with temperature control and chair hoist.

Cuisine: We have a team of in-house cooks producing delicious home-cooked meals. Meals are balanced and nutritious in accordance with the needs of the individuals and can accommodate any special dietary requirements. Snacks and drinks are available throughout the day from communal kitchens and snack stations in individual bedrooms, and family and friends are welcome to join residents for meals by prior arrangements.
